Tomato sauce
Marinara(?)
1 diced onion,    1/2
green pepper, diced              4 cloved
garlic, minced
olive oil  4 - 14 oz
cans diced tomatoes    2 Tbls fresh
parsley, chopped 
(use Italian if you have it)            fresh ground black pepper           
1/2 cup white cooking wine         salt.      2 tsp italian seasoning.
 
saute onion, green pepper and garlic; add italian seasoning toward end. Add remaining ingredients and simmer until thickened.
