Potato Casserole
1 chopped medium onion            1/2
stick margarine
2 pounds frozen hash browns      
1
can cream of chicken soup      
1 can cream of mushroom soup  
          
 6 -oz grated chedder cheese
2 cups sour cream  
                  
 6
-oz velvetta or american cheese grated
1/2 cup crushed crackers 
1/2 stick butter
                    
 
Brown onion in butter and put in the bottom of larger baking
dish.
Mix soups, chedder cheese and sour cream. 
Add to the hashbrowns and mix well; 
put in baking dish. 
Grate
velvetta and sprinkle on top. 
Saute crushed crackers in 1/2 stick butter; sprinkle on top. 
Chunck 1 stick of margarine on top. 
Bake 1-1/2
hours at 325 deg F.
