4 skinned, boned chicken breast halves

4 thin slices prosciutto or fully cooked ham

4 slices gruyere or swiss cheese

1 small tomato, peeled, seeded and chopped

1/4 C margarine

1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup sour cream or plain yogurt

2 Tbsp plain flour

1/4 tsp paprika

1/8 tsp nutmeg

2 cups hot cooked noodles


Pound chicken to form 1/8" rectangles. Place 1 slice of ham, 1 slice of cheese, and some of the tomato on each. Fold in long sides and roll up jelly-roll style. Secure with wooden picks. Cook in 2 Tbsp of margerine 25-30 min till no longer pink.

For sauce, melt remaining margarine; add mushrooms & garlic. Cook until tender. Remove from heat. Stir together remaining ingredients (except noodles) Add to sauce. Cook and stir till thickend and bubbly. Cook and stir one minute more. Arrange noodles and chicken on platter. Pour sauce over all.
