Chocolate Tea Cookies
1 cup butter, softened
5 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup finely chopped, lightly salted cashews
1/2 cup mini semisweet chocolate morsels
1 tablespoon cocoa
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1-1/2 cups flour (used 2 cups)
1 cup powdered sugar, more or less
Beat butter until creamy, beat in sugar. Stir in vanilla, nuts and chocolate chips. Mix cocoa, cinnamon and flour. Stir into butter mixture.
Shape into 1-inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 325 deg for 15 to 18 minutes. Cool on cookie sheets 1 minute, then roll in powdered sugar.
