2 10 ounce packages frozen broccoli spears, cooked according to directions.

1 whole chicken

1 can cream of chicken soup

3/4 cup mayonnaise

1 tablesppon lemon juice

several Ritz crackers

1 stick margarine


Stew the chicken in salted water until tender. Remove the skin and bones and cut in small pieces. Mix together the soup, mayonnaise and lemon juice. Arrange the drained broccoli in bottom of 13 x 9 baking dish. Combine chicken pieces and soup mixture and pour over broccoli. Spread the grated cheddar cheese over this and crumble the crackers on top. Cut up the stick of margarine and dot the top. Bake for 30 minutes in a 350 oven.
