1- lb hot sausage 1 -lb shredded mild cheddar cheese
4 cups biscuit mix (1 -lb box) 2 Tbl milk if needed (or more)
Crumble sausage into large bowl; add cheese and mix well. Blend biscuit mix into sausage-cheese mixture with pastry blender. Shape into walnut-sized balls; place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 for 10 min. Yield: about 9 doz.
NOTE: after baking these can be frozen in moisture-proof containers. To serve, remove from freezer and heat at 350 until warm.
