How do I add extra credit points to my gradebook?
If you would like Blackboard to calculate extra credit points you must use
the Weight Grades function in the Gradebook.
- Set up an item that has 1 point possible.
- Weight this item in such a way that it is worth 1 percentage point of the
total course grade.
- Grant everybody that 1 point for merely being in the course, if you so
wish (to avoid complaints that only 99% were really possible without the extra
credit).
- Any points above 1 will be added as extra credit
